We provide schools in the slums with daily lunches, medical supplies, books, sanitary pads and uniforms.
FICCS provides a variety of programs designed to provide sustainable solutions to the issues facing women and children living in the slums and rural areas of Kenya. Due to social stigmas and discrimination, women and girls in Kenya are not given the same opportunities as boys. As a result, FICCS opened a Women's Center in Nairobi to help cater to their needs and provide an outlet for the women and children to grow.
We support rural Maasai women and girls to help prevent early marriages and FGM (Female Genital Mutilation).
We feed over 500 women and children daily and provide nutritional support for an additional 3000 people.
To date, we have provided over 30 scholarships ranging from Nursing and Counseling to High School and Primary.
We support 60 disabled orphans with food, medical and hygiene supplies and emotional support programs.
To date, FICCS has donated over $2 million worth of state of the art medical equipment and supplies.
"Sanitary pads donated by FICCS keep the girls from missing school and getting infections."
